Nobody trained you for the moments that actually test you.

Switching to Manual is a 12-week coaching program that builds the judgment most leaders only develop after years of hard lessons. Without needing to pay that tuition first.

Does this sound like you?

You're good at your job. That part isn't the question.

But some of this probably is:

  • You're not always sure if people follow you because they trust you or because they have to
  • There's a conversation you should have had sooner. You're still putting it off.
  • You've walked out thinking: that's not how I wanted to handle that.
  • You push when you should listen. Or listen when you should push.
  • You want to get better at this. You're just not sure what better looks like.

This is not a you problem!

Every leader in this program said some version of the same thing before they started:

"I kept thinking I was the only one who didn't have it figured out."

You're not. The leaders who are most honest about this gap are usually the ones closest to closing it.

IMAGINE -12- WEEKS FROM NOW…

  • You leave hard conversations with you and your people feeling Heard
  • You stop avoiding the ones you've been putting off.
  • You stop second-guessing yourself after the fact.
  • You read people accurately. In real time. Under pressure.
  • People follow you because they trust you. You can feel the difference.
INTRODUCING

Switching to Manual

The fastest way to close the gap between knowing leadership and doing it when it counts.

Just three of the things that shift:

  • You stop dreading hard conversations and start owning them.Your team follows you because they trust you.
  • You can feel the difference.
  • You build in twelve weeks what most leaders spend years figuring out the hard way.

This program is for leaders who are ready to stop leaving it to chance.

What's Included In The Program...

Six 1:1 sessions with Kip

This is not a typical "how does that make you feel" coaching experience.

Kip is an multi award-winning executive coach who works with senior leaders at some of the world's leading companies.

He brings a direct take, challenges your thinking, and tells you why something will or won't work.

You leave every session knowing exactly what to go and do.

Three group sessions with your cohort

Most leadership development puts you in a room with strangers doing exercises. This is different.

You're with a small group of people going through the same things at the same time — the same pressure, the same moments of doubt, the same gaps.

The conversations that happen in this room are ones you can't have anywhere else. You'll leave realising you're not the only one. And you'll leave sharper for hearing how others are navigating it.

Behavioural assessment at the start and end

Most people finish a program feeling like something shifted but can't quite say what. This removes the guesswork.

You're assessed before you start and again when you finish — so you can see exactly what changed, where you grew, and what to keep working on. Not a feeling. Evidence.

Direct access throughout

Leadership doesn't wait for your next scheduled session. When something comes up between calls — a conversation you're dreading, a situation you're not sure how to handle — you're not sitting on it for two weeks.

Text or email Kip directly. You get a real response, not a holding pattern.

The support is there when you actually need it.

NICE TO MEET YOU

I'm Kip Jon

My obsession with this started when I was young, working on a very special program.

It was an outdoor experiential learning program for kids who had been written off by pretty much everyone. These weren't easy kids. They came with court orders, complicated families, trauma, and a system that had already decided what they were. The pressure was relentless. Not nine to five — around the clock, every day, with real stakes and no off switch.

And the person leading us through all of it was extraordinary. Not in a loud, inspirational-speaker way. Just quietly, consistently extraordinary. The way he led his people and the way those people led the kids was unlike anything I had seen.

I didn't know at the time that he was considered one of the best in the world at what he did. I just knew something was different about this human.

Then he died. Suddenly. And everything changed.

The person who replaced him was his opposite in every way that mattered. Within a year the program had collapsed. Good people left. The kids lost something real. And I couldn't stop thinking about it.

How could leadership make that much difference? What were the actual mechanics of what made one person so extraordinary and the other so damaging? Why does nobody talk about this?

That question sent me down a path I haven't left since. The education, the research, the behavioural science, the coaching, the training — and subsequently the decades of working with leaders at every level. All of it started with watching what great leadership does to people and what the absence of it costs.

That's what Switching to Manual is built on.

Senior Manager, Global Pharma

"I came in thinking I had a team problem. Three weeks in I realised I had a me problem. That sounds brutal but it was the most useful thing anyone has ever said to me in a professional context. I lead differently now."

Director, Biotech

"I had been avoiding a conversation with one of my direct reports for four months. We worked through it in the first session. I had that conversation the next day. It went better than anything I could have scripted. That was week two of twelve."

Senior Director Marketing, Saas

"I've done leadership training before. A lot of it. This is the first time I finished something and could actually point to specific moments where I showed up differently under pressure. That's the only thing that matters."

WHAT MAKES THIS DIFFERENT

Most leadership development teaches you the skill. This is about the reliability of the skill under pressure.

Being able to use what you know when the stakes are real and the room is tense. Nobody else is making that distinction. That's the whole point.

The wisdom that usually takes ten years of hard lessons — damaged trust, lost talent, avoidable mistakes — delivered in twelve weeks. Not a shortcut. A faster path to the same hard-won learning.

And unlike most programs where you're one of hundreds watching pre-recorded content alone, this is a small cohort with direct access to Kip throughout. Your real situations. Not hypotheticals.

THE INVESTMENT

$8,500

Next cohort:September 2026. -5- spots remaining.

Consider what figuring this out the hard way actually costs. A good person who quietly loses trust in you. A conversation that damages something you can't quite repair. Two years of reacting when you should have been leading. That's not a hypothetical. That's what the slow path looks like for most leaders.

Twelve weeks. Real work. Real situations. A different way of operating on the other side.

If after your first session it isn't what you needed, you don't continue and we refund your investment.

You've been figuring this out on your own long enough.

The next cohort has -5- spots. When they're gone, the next opening is 2027 so don't miss out.

If this is the gap you're sitting in, the next step is a conversation.
